Many Cine lovers can still recall the days in 1989 when ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ made a huge success on the big screen. Actor Salman Khan starring, in the movie, a new face ‘Bhagyashree’ was introduced to the film industry. Through her first debut in Bollywood, Bhagyashree received a warm welcome from viewers and in little time, she won people’s hearts.

It has been a long since Maine Pyar Kiya was released but it is still remembered for the wonderful performance of both characters. The film was directed by Suraj Bharjatya, and immediately after the film, Bhagyashree left the film industry to look after her family.

Earlier, after Maine Pyar Kiya, she did many films but none of them got huge success like Maine Pyar Kiya. She was last seen in 2010, in the film ‘Red Alert- The War Within’.

Now Bhagyashree has made her come back to the big screen by Kangana Ranaut starred Thalaivi. In this movie, she has played Kangana’s mother Sandhya’s role.  She seems quite impressed with Kangana’s conduct on the set as she is a fantastic and hard-working person, would come to greet her and would say goodbye before leaving the set.

The role she played in the film, is a crucial one and her character brings a change in the movie. Thalaivi portrays Jayalalitha’s journey from her childhood to gathering political power and becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. In her life, she had been closely attached to her mother but her mother passed away too soon. In the movie, the emotional side of Jayalalitha’s life has been elaborated on by the producers.

After a long time, she has made a comeback in a movie with such a grave storyline. She shares her fans’ reaction as a lot of people showed their approval on seeing her on the big screen after a long time.

People still are mesmerized by her beauty that they said that she is too beautiful to play the mother. Having all this adulation motivates her but she wants to play the role which makes difference to the story.

After Maine Pyar Kiya’s huge success her chemistry with Salman Khan was adored by her fans. On the question of working with Salman Khan will work or not, she said that she is not in touch with Salman Khan for a long time and whatever she listens, he is working with all younger heroines and which script will be relevant for both of them to work together, she has no idea.

Bhagyashree has few films and a web series, and in the next one, she will be seen with Prabhas.  Bhagyashree’s son Abhimanyu Dassani has also made his Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Mard ko Dard Nahi Hota’ which was not a big hit but his presence was much appreciated by the viewers. His next project is Nikamma with Shilpa Shetty and Shirley Setia.

Abhimanyu is quite excited about her mother’s return to Bollywood. The 90’s star who enthralled the movie lovers with her wonderful performance and sweet voice, has been welcomed by the people. We will find out how her reentry to Bollywood will work for her.
