India squad for Men’s T20 World Cup 2024

Finally, India has announced their 15-player squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

Rohit Sharma will lead India’s squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

Before the announcement, there was speculation around the wicketkeeper selection, with numerous contenders for the role. Ultimately, India has selected Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson for behind the wickets.

This will mark the return of Rishabh Pant to international cricket for the first time after a near-fatal accident in December 2022 that kept him away from cricket for more than 1 year.

Shivam Dube’s form in the IPL paid off and he made it to the Indian squad. The 30-year-old has been in tremendous form for the Chennai Super Kings, amassing 350 runs in nine matches at an impressive strike rate of 172.
