The motorcycle industry is launching new models to attract bike lovers. Yezdi Motorcycles has relaunched in 2022 with a surprise of three new models. The three new models include Yezdi Adventure, Scrambler, and Roadster. With these new models, Yezdi has made an exhilarating comeback after 26 years. These models with different features are handy for those riders who want to travel regularly and also for those who want to travel long distances. Having had a thorough study of Jawa Motorcycles and UK-based BSA motorcycles, the Mahindra Group-owned brand has released three new brands which are said to give competition to brands like Royal Enfield, Honda, and Benelli in the segment. Here are details about three models:

Yezdi Roadster

Roadster is available in two variants- dark and chrome. The former comes in three colors Smoke Grey, Hunter Green, and Steel Blue. The latter comes in two colors- Sin Silver and Gallant Grey. It is available at the price of 1.98 L and 1.42 L. The Yezdi Roadster comes with clean classic looks with an engine capable of generating the output of 29.7 PS and 29 Nm of peak torque. Other features include round LED headlights, taillights, and dual exhaust. The rider console is digitally encased in an LCD panel.  All necessary information like trip meter, distance to empty time, ABS mode, and gear indicators are also provided.

Yezdi Scrambler

In terms of features and specification, this model is one level above the Roadster. Available in two variants- Single Tone and Dual Tone, it costs Rs 204,900. It has a six-speed gearbox and 334cc single-cylinder 4 stroke liquid-cooled DOHC unit. The engine power is 29.1PS and 28.2 Nm of peak torque. Other features include LED headlights, taillights besides turn indicators, a clean lens, and a round-shaped LCD digital display. It also got handlebar-mounted USB and Types C charging points.

Yezdi Adventure

It offers more features and customization options to riders. It can be paired with the brand app through Bluetooth that comprises features like search locations, destinations, relay turn-by-turn navigation on the display along with commentary on the intercom, records vehicle speed and engine RPM. The app also gives alerts and information like incoming calls, messages, missed calls, signals, and battery strength. It has a six-speed gearbox and the engine produces a maximum power of 30.2 PS and 29.9 Nm torque. The price of Adventure starts at Rs 2.10 lakh and goes up to 2.19 lakh.   According to Yezdi, the motorcycle will be sold through 300 Jawa dealerships, the showrooms have been renamed as Jawa Yezdi showrooms. On the Twitter handle, Yezdi stated, ‘It’s not a motorcycle, it’s an emotion. It’s an era. It’s a way of life. And we’re back, thundering thrice in three new avatars!
