Kaziranga park is divided into four tourism zones, which are replete with dense forests, distinguished flora and fauna, tea gardens, large grasslands, and picturesque views.
- The entry gate of the central zone is in the small town of Kohora where people can enjoy both jeep safari and elephant safari.
- The Western Safari Zone is the most popular zone among tourists as people get an opportunity to have a closer sight of a one-horned Rhino. Both elephant and jeep safari are available at the Bagori tourism office.
- The eastern zone provides a facility for jeep safari and boat safari to experience wildlife around the area and the water bodies. The entry gate is in the small town of Agaratoli where the jeep safari starts.
- The Burapahar zone starts from Rhino land park and the entry gate is in Ghorakati village. The major attractions of this area are trekking on the selected route, bird seeing, and witnessing the beautiful ambiance of nature.

The best time to visit Kaziranga National Park is between November to April. The summers start from April to May which is extremely hot and the monsoon starts from June to September when sometimes the area gets flooded. Winters start from November to February when the weather is dry and mild, an ideal time to visit Kaziranga National Park.
