The purchase will be open from September 8, and deliveries will start from October in over 1,000 cities across India. Both the variants are laden with remarkable features- The S1 has key highlights-voice control, Hill Hold, Cruise control, with a top speed of 90kmph and 121km on a single charge on Normal and Sports modes. The S1Pro offers a top speed of 115kmph and 181 km with Normal, Sports, and Hyper modes.
The battery pack of Ola S1 comes in 2.98kWh and Ola S1 pro comes in 3.97kWh. The charge time on a wall charger for S1 is 4 hours 48 minutes and for S1 pro 6 hours and 30 minutes.
The color options for Ola S1 and S1 Pro come in five colors and 10 colors respectively. Both the variants offer a Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 4 GB connection, Wi-Fi, 7-inch touchscreen, and Bluetooth. Both of them have reverse parking functions, hill-hold systems, and cruise control.
Other additional features include proximity lock/unlock, remote boot lock/unlock, onboard navigation, geo-fencing, mobile phone call, message alerts, and an anti-theft alarm system.
The manufacturing of electric scooters in India is gearing up due to its growing popularity among Indian scooter riders.
